Ask Tiffany: You Don’t Need More Clients

When was the last time you sat down with your calculator to figure out how many clients you need this year to make X amount of money?

Or maybe you even started with, “Okay, my fee is $125. If I want to make 6-figures, that means I need…(desperately doing the math) at least 15* clients a week!”

*Notice I left out the reality of taking time off in this 52 week a year equation?

LOOOOOOOOOK!

The solution isn’t always more clients – Working more hours, getting that website stock photo tweaked just so, cramming in one…more… coffee date to get your phone ringing, Ringing, RINGING.

Is it possible you’re missing a key element to building a bomb-ass practice – where you actually look forward to your days? Where you’re stress-free and chillin, while also making bank?

Over the next few weeks, we’re going to be busting up the myth of more clients. I’m going to give you a sneak peak into the world of therapists who make 6-figures and beyond, because they are paying attention to the elements of practice building that are exponentially more important than getting more clients.

Want to have a practice where you’re earning more and have more time without adding more clients? Start here.

NOW, we’d love to hear from you. Describe what your ideal Tuesday in private practice looks like. Don’t hold back – we want aaaaalll the deets!

GET IT.

Make Bank. Help People.

I’ve now been living in Costa Rica with my family for a year, after shifting my practice online! I succeeded to regain the volume of clients I had in my inperson practice. But Triffany you have blown my head off with inspiration to grow and hold value and so so much more. I get caught in the needing more clients…and how can I jam 20+ clients in and still string a sentance together…..but I am learning, thanks to you, to find my limit and turn the whole thing around and start from the inside and move out….start from what I am wanting and make it all fit into that..Cheers!

First of all, Tressa, I love that you (unconsciously) mixed our names together and called me Triffany!! BEST THING EVER. It means a little of me is inside of you, gently nudging you to get C.L.E.A.R about what it is you want and *then* set up your practice around that. I love Love LOVE your insights and I’m rooting for you!

This was awesome! I can totally get caught up in the scarcity mentality!!! Ive been there the past couple days actually. Deep breath. Whew. So thank you Tiffany for the reminder. I am now redirected to look at my intention, and I am starting now.:)

Hayley! Welcome back. I’m so glad you took that breath and remembered to take it easy. We only get one of these – lives, that is. Let’s set up our practices to support easy, calm, thrilling, passionate lives that allows us to chill the fuck out and breathe. 2018, let’s make it happen!

I want less clients in my office and more spread out throughout the week teleconferencing.

    • Tiffany 15/01/2018 at 12:33 pm - Reply

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this, Carol! Can you imagine? If you did teleconferencing, you could live abroad or even travel abroad for weeks at a time, while still earning an income and doing awesome work. I want this for you!

Great stuff, Tiffany! So important to start from the top down… The top being your life and lifestyle.

Absolutely, Michael! So many of us do it BACKwards and then wondering why we’re always chasing the double rainbow. While double rainbows are awesome, I’d rather have truffle linguini on an Italian vacation!
